Affinity Projects is dedicated to bettering the lives of Autistic and special needs children. Affinity Projects partner with others to advance the well-being of all living with autism and special needs and promote individual choice and social skills aided by parental and guardian advocacy. Many spend their days and nights sitting in front of the TV with little to no social interaction. Most families cannot afford to provide them with the proper care and struggle to make ends meet. We recognize a person living with autism and special needs can and should be able to maximize his/her quality of life and oppose any denial of their opportunities. We oppose any discrimination and harm directed towards individuals living with autism and special needs in their families.
Affinity Projects and partner’s mission is to raise public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society: and we work to bring hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder. We are committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals.
This is our second year providing holiday trips for autistic and special needs children to experience the lights at Lake Lanier, Lego Land and Festival of the Season at Georgia Aquarium. We have had an overwhelming response from families hoping their children may join our holiday trips this year.
